First, you will see the demonstration of a craftsman employing the boushi shibori technique  in a private space, then you start making a fukusa silk wrapping cloth (40cm x 40cm) using the ko-boushi shibori technique and the chu-boushi shibori technique.

These techniques require advanced skill. Therefore, you will take approximately 3 hours to create one piece of fukusa cloth.

You also dye a cloth that you bound with thread, then you dry it and unbind the thread. At the end of the class, there will a time for comments on your finished piece and to question.

Because of the hard work, you will get a sense of accomplishment and an impression all the more when you open and see the final result.

Even if it is your first time, we will firmly support you and it will be alright. Let's create only one beautiful piece in the world with us!

It is possible to purchase some tools and materials that you use for the class.
